Rhododendron orchid, pseudobulb ovoid or subglobose; leaves are usually born at the top of pseudobulb, narrowly elliptical, subelliptic or oblanceolate narrowly elliptical; scapes emerge from the upper node of pseudobulb, nearly erect,Racemes, flowers often skewed to one side of the inflorescence, often drooping, not fully open, fragrant, narrowly bell-shaped, light purple-brown, and the capsules are nearly oval, drooping. Flowering from April to May, fruiting from September to December.
